The best natural hand is a straight flush. A straight flush is five cards in the same suit, and includes the ace of diamonds. This hand is sometimes used as a deciding factor in a showdown. The ace can be high or low.

One of the simplest ways to win a pot is to make a bet that nobody calls. In some games, this is called a blind bet. In other games, it’s an ante.
